Vignamatic is one of the latest innovations from Sicma: a combined cultivator capable of working the soil between the rows and the soil under the rows at the same time, hydraulically adjustable to adapt to vineyards of various sizes and widths.

Officially presented at Eima International 2022, the Vignamatic Hydraulic cultivator obtained its first recognition: a mention in the “Technical Innovations” Competition of Eima 2022 for the possibility of lifting the central ploughshares, excluding them from cultivating the land, without the need to lift the whole frame when the area between the rows does not need to be cultivated.

An innovation that improves its flexibility of use and represents an important advantage for winemakers who adopt the technique of grassing in alternate rows.

This innovation also earned it recognition as a “New Technology” in the “Innovation Challenge Enovitis 2023” competition: the Vignamatic cultivator “profitably combines mechanical weeding in the inter-row space and in that of the under-row space in a single pass, also resulting versatile in situations of alternating management of tilled and grassed rows”.

Two acknowledgements that confirm the value of Vignamatic which, thanks to its versatility, is able to satisfy the needs of all those winemakers who wish to carry out multiple processes effectively and more efficiently.

Furthermore, Vignamatic can be configured and customised, depending on the work to be carried out, with different tools to be installed on the hydraulically operated tool holder units present on the sides of the frame.

The autonomous movement of both the central plowshares and the lateral tool-holder units allows you to work the soil at the same time in the centre of the row and in the undertree, or to carry out these operations separately and independently, thus offering the operator considerable flexibility of use.
